So, what kind of church is Peachtree?
As the name suggests, we are a community church that reflects the diversity and uniqueness of West Georgia community. We are a conservative, evangelical church (in everyday language, that means we believe the Bible is true and use it as our basis for understanding of God and life) that has a contemporary style. Our functions are as old and unchanging as the Scriptures, and our forms are as fresh and current as today's paper.

We are affiliated with the Willow Creek Association and the Southern Baptist Convention, both collections of like-minded biblical churches with whom we have relationships and share resources.

What we value

Core values are the enduring beliefs that drive and define anything: an individual, a family, or an organization. As the word "value" implies, they signify what is important, what someone places a high value on.

If you want to know about Peachtree Community Church, you really want to know about our core values. We value a lot of things around here: our kids, excellence and creativity in our worship, and a host of other things, but our core values get down to the essence of what we believe are the most important things God has called us to as a church.

In a real sense, they define who we are and who we hope to become as a community of Christ followers. These are a distillation of what we believe to be the essence of Christianity as God reveals His will in the Bible.

Authentic Worship. Responding to the character and works of an all-worthy God by submitting, serving and remembering.

Relevant, Biblical Teaching. Nourishing the believer to maturity in Christ through transformational teaching.

Nurturing Community. Relating to each other with mutual love, care, and ministry.

Effective Discipleship. Growing believers from their present point of commitment toward life transformation and maturity as Christ followers, empowered by the the Spirit.

Team Ministry. Equipping and involving every believer in ministry suited to his or her unique God-given design.

Intentional Influence. Sharing our lives and our faith winsomely with those in our community who need Christ.

Global Outreach. Advancing the Kingdom strategically with a focus on church planting movements and unreached peoples around the world.

Christ's Headship. Acknowledging Christ as the Head of His Church and us as His servants in complete, prayerful dependence on Him.
